Safety contact point
One address, for product safety matters only: marcin@staniszczak.pl.
Safety reports are handled first. If your message is about a complaint, an order or a return, the Terms and Conditions give the right address.
Identifying an individual item
Every instrument carries a serial number, which is its GPSR identifier. The number is on the instrument and on its page in this site, so an item can be traced to its producer without any purchase paperwork.
Workshop jigs are identified by type and version; the version is part of the file name and of the product page.
Warnings and instructions for use
Stringed instruments and workshop jigs carry foreseeable risks, which we state on the product itself and not only here:
- String tension. A strung instrument is under constant tension. A breaking string can strike an eye — protect your eyes when tuning and changing strings.
- Wood and humidity. Rapid humidity change cracks plates. The recommended relative humidity range is in the documentation shipped with the instrument.
- Finish. Lacquered surfaces react to solvents and to prolonged contact with rubber and some plastics.
- Workshop jigs. These are intended for use with hand and power tools. Use them only as documented and with the protective equipment appropriate to the tool you are using. 3D-printable files are supplied for you to make yourself — responsibility for the print and for judging its strength rests with whoever makes it.
Product-specific warnings appear on the product page and in the documentation included with the shipment, in Polish for the Polish market.
Reporting a safety problem
If a product seems unsafe to you, write to the address above and include the serial number or the version. If a product is found to present a risk, we will inform purchasers and the competent market surveillance authorities as GPSR requires.
